WordPress: Using the Gutenberg Editor is a hands-on instructor-led class that teaches you how to use the new Gutenberg Editor built into WordPress 5 to create pages and posts with Content Blocks.

You’ll learn how to organize your posts with categories and tags and manage your media. You’ll also learn all the things you need to do before publishing a post, as well as how to respond to comments and manage spam.
4 hours. $119.

Prerequisites

WordPress Quick Start or equivalent knowledge. Students should already be proficient with Windows and basic computer operations, including using a web browser, saving and editing files, using a mouse and keyboard, etc.

Students must have their own WordPress web site to work on. If you need help acquiring a web hosting account and domain name or installing WordPress, please contact Tina to setup a time for her to help you with this. (Additional fee.)

What You Should Bring

Please bring your own laptop, fully charged and your login information to access your WordPress site. We’ll provide you with free WiFi access while you’re here. We do have a few outlets available, should your battery need recharging. You should also bring a pen and paper to take notes.
